The MBC documentary on the life of Sulli was full of heartbreaking revelations from her mother and good friend, Tiffany Young.

With only a month left before Sulli's first death anniversary on October 14, MBC released the documentary Why Did Sulli Bother You? It focused on the life of the late K-Pop idol who received more than her fair share of public censure during her time in the limelight, All Kpop reported.

In the documentary, Sulli's mother revealed that all was well in their family until Sulli's dating news with Choiza came out. She admitted that she was against her daughter dating the rapper from the beginning of their relationship.

Sulli's mom said that she was opposed to the relationship because she saw how much her daughter changed by dating a man who was 13 years her senior. Sulli's mom said that her life pattern changed completely when her daughter started dating Choiza.

She admitted that they had a falling out when she voiced out her concerns about Sulli's boyfriend. Sulli became angry at her family for not supporting her choice of the person she liked. She reportedly said that she had gone through a hard time and earned money. This caused her rift with her family.

The mother and daughter patched up their relationship when Sulli and Choiza broke up but Sulli's mom admitted that they did not see each other that often.

Another person close to Sulli shared her thoughts about her good friend for the documentary.

Girls' Generation Tiffany was known to be like a big sister to Sulli. They developed a friendship as trainees and labelmates under SM Entertainment.

Tiffany spoke up about Sulli's use of social media to express herself, which was targeted by bashers and malicious comments.

According to Tiffany, as celebrities, social media is their only avenue to express their thoughts and ideas. She said that they should be given the freedom to do so without judgment.

In a tearful confession, she said that she applauded Sulli's courage for living her life bravely, and for wanting to express freely at every opportunity even though not everything was right.

It can be recalled that Sulli's death shocked the Korean entertainment industry when the 25-year-old singer and actress was found lifeless in her apartment last year. While it was not made official, it was believed that she took her own life after suffering from ceaseless public censure and criticism. A Sulli Law was introduced to the National Assembly to impose stricter sanctions on malicious comments and cyberbullying.
