Jin gets a lot of backlash from his critics because of his good looks. Many are not convinced that someone as gorgeous as the BTS star will have the talent and a great personality to match it — they just find it to be impossible.
However, Jin has proven numerous times that everything is possible if you work hard for it. It’s no secret that Mr. Worldwide Handsome was scouted not because of his voice or dance skills, but because of his next-level visuals. But, because of his hard work and perseverance, Jin is now one of the most celebrated singers in the industry. His dancing skills have improved a lot as well.
But, when it comes to personality, Jin didn’t have to work as hard. The BTS star is known for his kind personality and he had always been that way since their rookie days. In fact, in one of BTS’s hidden camera prank, the “Moon” singer’s true personality was displayed.
During an episode of Rookie King, the BTS members were tasked to do a mission while riding alone in an elevator. Since it was scheduled, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook assumed that the staff had cleared out the venue for the filming.
But, in the middle of their way up to the designated floor, the elevator stopped and a woman entered. Most of the boys were caught off-guard, but some continued with the mission. What the BTS members didn’t know was that the woman was part of the prank.
Once she entered the elevator, she suddenly cried. All of the boys looked confused and concerned, but it was only Jin who reached out to her. The “Epiphany” singer turned to the woman’s direction and asked her if she’s having a sad day. The actress replied that her boyfriend had just broken up with her.
Jin let out a concerned sigh and said, “Ah. That’s why.” Even though the BTS star had a mission to complete, he chose to use his time comforting the crying woman, which showed his true personality.
Meanwhile, Jin always shares his positive influence and good advice to make his BTS members feel better. One of those moments is when J-Hope was contemplating about success, Jin assured him that he’s destined to reach what he has now.
“I wonder if I could even be here if it weren’t for being a part of BTS…” J-Hope said. “You would have succeeded no matter what you did,” Jin replied.
Another one is when Jimin was being critical about himself. The “Filter” singer said that he wished he could sing well. Jin, then, told him, “Jimin, you are perfect.”
