BTS and ARMYs celebrated RM’s 26th birthday (27th in Korea) on Sept.12. The fandom and his members showered the group’s leader with a lot of love and appreciation on his special day on social media.

The first BTS member who greeted RM was Jin, who posted a chaotic video message, wishing him a happy birthday. Despite his Worldwide Handsome status, Jin didn’t show his face on the clip. Instead, it was just a dark shaky video of something, possibly of his finger covering the camera, as he screamed his heart out to greet the “Persona” rapper.

ARMYs loved and enjoyed Jin’s unique greeting. A few hours later, J-Hope posted the same dark screen video. Fans quickly assumed that the “Ego” rapper will be sending the same chaotic message as Jin’s, but they were wrong.

In a usual J-Hope manner, there were cute emojis on his caption. “Good morning (sun emoji) Happy birthday, bro. It's your friend J-hope (purple heart emoji) I fell asleep last night while looking for nice pictures we took together,,, Sorry bro (How come we only have funny pictures?)” he wrote.

Reading the caption alone, ARMYs were already expecting a fun greeting from J-Hope. But, when they clicked the video, they felt attacked by the BTS rapper’s raspy morning voice.

J-Hope just woke up when he posted his greeting for RM. He most definitely saw Jin’s video greeting a few hours earlier, and decided to follow the trend. But instead of screaming like the “Moon” singer did, (Watch the clip here). JH, who is clearly still very sleepy, greeted RM with a breathy and hoarse voice that sent ARMYs into a frenzy. “So who’s gonna tell Hobi that it wasn’t just a birthday wish? It was a heart attack for us!!! Deep morning voice??? Seriously??? Is my heart a joke to him???” one tweeted. “The morning voice of Hobi is now forever stuck in my head,” another one wrote.

J-Hope was probably just trying to be a good friend to RM by greeting him the moment he woke up, not realizing the chaos he caused ARMYs. In fact, despite having three names, J-Hope (stage name), Hoseok (real name), Hobi (nickname), they all quickly trended on Twitter along with “His Voice,” and “His Morning Voice.”

“We really trended, J-Hope, Hoseok, Hobi, His Voice, and His Morning Voice, ARMY is a different kind of breed, I tell you,” one very amused fan tweeted.
