BTS and BLACKPINK made it to the two new charts released by Billboard.

According to a report by Soompi, Billboard revealed two new charts that are focused on international streaming and sales. The music chart rolled out the Billboard Global 200 Chart and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Chart.

The two charts seek to measure the performance of songs on a global scale. Based on Billboard's description, the charts will be based on sales and streaming data from over 200 countries. The charts will be determined by a formula that combines streams on subscription and ad-supported tiers of top digital platforms with downloads from major music retailers online.

Based on the ranking, BTS' "Dynamite" landed in second place of the Global 200 while BLACKPINK's collaboration with Selena Gomez for "Ice Cream" was not far behind at No. 8.

"Dynamite" amassed 83.4 million streams and 36,000 downloads.

For the Global 200 Excl. U.S. chart, BTS once again landed in second place, next only to Maluma's "Hawaii." BTS recorded 7.9 million streams and 15,000 units sold.

BLACKPINK ranked in sixth place for "Ice Cream."

On the local front, BTS and BLACKPINK topped this month's brand reputation rankings released by the Korean Business Research Institute.

BTS was the top boy group for the 28th consecutive month. They posted 17,700,138 in their brand reputation index, which was almost double their numbers for last month.

BTS' stats were credited to their recent comeback in the form of their first English single "Dynamite." The song dominated record charts all around the world and skyrocketed to the top of Billboard Hot 100 chart.

BTS is expected to release another album before the end of the year.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's popularity for the month of September gave them a  brand reputation index of 11,211,456. They also posted an impressive 89.02 in terms of positive reactions.

BLACKPINK recently released "Ice Cream," and is expected to release their first full album entitled BLACKPINK: THE ALBUM on October 2.

According to YG Entertainment, over 800,000 albums have already been ordered through pre-selling. This puts BLACKPINK on track to having the highest selling K-Pop girl group album in 23 years.

BLACKPINK will also be featured in Netflix's first documentary on Kpop entitled Light Up the Sky. The documentary will center around BLACKPINK's debut until their first Coachella performance in 2019. It will be released on the streaming platform on October 14, Soompi reported.
