Angelina Jolie made a generous donation to two young boys from London who wanted to help the children in Yemen. The kids launched a fundraising campaign for the benefit of the humanitarian crisis in the said war-torn country.

The two six-year-old boys, named Ayaan Moosa and Mikaeel Ishaaq, started a lemonade stand outside of their homes to raise some money to give to the children of Yemen. Upon hearing the news about their effort, the 45-year-old actress made an "extremely generous" donation and sent them a letter to praise their move.

Jolie thanked Ayaan and Mikaeel for their work to help the Yemeni kidsPeople noted. She, then, apologized to the two for not being able to personally buy lemonade from them.

Despite her absence, she still liked to "make a donation" to their stand. Brad Pitt's ex reached out to the kids' family through her office to give them her grant.

As a humanitarian, Jolie also showed her concern for the sad situation in Yemen, which is considered the "world's worst humanitarian crisis."

According to NBC News, Ayaan and Mikaeel started their lemonade stand with their parents' help after watching some videos of kids in Yemen. From here, they decided they wanted to help. So, they began selling freshly squeezed lemonade for $3 per cup.

The boys saw the Yemeni children had nothing to help them survive, like water, food, and oil. As they had all these things, Ayaan and Mikaeel wanted them to have access to these basic necessities, too.

Ayaan and Mikaeel then shared a video to thank Jolie for her donation on their joint Instagram account, LemonAid Boys. As the Maleficent star planned to visit the boys when she's in the U.K., the two promised they would have a glass of lemonade ready for her.

Anyhow, Ayaan and Mikaeel didn't know who Jolie was when they first got her donation. Ayaan told NBC that, when their dads talked to them about her, they described her as a pretty, good actress and a nice person.

Ayaan's mother, Adeela, said getting in touch with Jolie was "beyond their wildest dreams." His father, Shakil, added to get the recognition of someone who genuinely cared like the Salt star "meant a lot" to them.

Ayaan, Mikaeel, and their families didn't reveal the exact amount of Jolie's donation. But, they have already raised more than $76,000 as of this writing. They gave the donations to One Nation, a relief and development charity in the U.K. that provided "essential food packs, water supplies, and medical care" to the people of Yemen.
