Fans want YG Entertainment to take active steps to protect Jisoo from malicious commenters. This came after BLINKs noticed a recent trend on social media where anti-fans continued to bash the BLACKPINK member with derogatory comments.

According to a report by All Kpop, some anti-fans are bullying Jisoo online and using below the belt comments against the artist. BLINKs trended #YG_ProtectJisoo to demand the label to go after the bashers so that they will stop disrespecting Jisoo.

Some of the rude comments targeted Jisoo for not being fluent in English when the rest of the members were very well versed in the language. Most of the commenters used rude and foul language to describe Jisoo. Some comments targeted Jisoo for the gifts that he bought the other BLACKPINK members. Fans defended her by expressing their support on social media. Many BLINKs shared what they loved most about Jisoo's talent and personality. They said that she did not have to be fluent in English to be loved by many.

BLACKPINK members are receiving a lot of attention these days because of their steady string of comebacks which started with their June release of "How You Like That?"

The success of the song in both the music charts and streaming platforms was followed up by their recent collaboration with Selena Gomez entitled "Ice Cream." "Ice Cream" entered the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 and landed at No. 13 while it placed in the Top 10 of two new Billboard charts focused on international streams and downloads.

It can be recalled that "Ice Cream" charted an impressive debut at No. 8 of Billboard Global 200 and ranked even better at No. 6 of Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Chart. BLACKPINK is expected to release their first full album on October 2 entitled BLACKPINK: The Album. The album will feature 10 tracks including a rumored collaboration American rapper Cardi B.

YG earlier announced that domestic pre-selling of the album has already reached 530,000 while international orders from the U.S. and Europe already reached 270,000.

After promoting for the full album, BLACKPINK members are expected to concentrate on individual promotions. Rose reportedly completed recording for her first solo album and Lisa is scheduled to work on her solo track afterward. Jisoo has been cast in her first drama entitled Snowdrop. She will reportedly be joined by Jung Hae In and Kim Hye Yoon, Koreaboo reported.
