She-Hulk is a new series coming to Disney+ at some point. Only a few details are known about it at the moment, including when it could officially arrive. But, the good news is that we already know who will be playing the titular role.

Recently, it was confirmed that Tatiana Maslany will be playing Jennifer Susan Walters a.k.a. She-Hulk. The actress is known for her roles in Orphan Black, as well as Perry Mason. For now, however, it remains to be seen how much the series adheres to the comics.

But, it can be noted that Walters is the cousin of Bruce Banner a.k.a. Hulk. Yet, it remains to be seen whether or not Mark Ruffalo will be appearing within the series. Fans could expect more updates and casting news in the coming months.

In the comics, Walters is a lawyer. After having an injury, she received an emergency blood transfusion from Banner. Later on, she acquired the milder version of Hulk's condition. Eventually, she becomes a large and powerful green-hued version of herself.

But, unlike her cousin, She-Hulk retains her personality -- including the majority of her intelligence and emotional control. However, she is still susceptible to outbursts of temper, making her even stronger when enraged. In the later comic issue, her transformation becomes permanent.

Walter is a highly skilled lawyer. After becoming a superhero by accident, she often uses her legal and personal experience to serve as legal counsel to different superheroes and metahumans. She-Hulk is a member of Avengers, SHIELD, Fantastic Four, Fantastic Force, Defenders, and Heroes for Hire.

Meanwhile, the project is just one of the many anticipated shows Marvel Studios has been working on for Disney+. Some other series coming include Loki, WandaVision, and The Falcon and Winter Soldier. These three are all in production and set to premiere at some point in 2021.

Maslany, on the other hand, is the latest female talent to lead a Marvel Project. She follows the footsteps of Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow movie, which is coming on the big screen this 2020, as well as Brie Larson in Captain Marvel.

As for the production, the series, reportedly, began filming in Atlanta back in August 2020. Since then, no further details about it have been revealed. Right now, a lot of things are being factored in due to the current global health crisis.

She-Hulk is expected to premiere at some point in 2022.
