SEVENTEEN is making a comeback this October, according to Pledis Entertainment.

According to a report by Soompi, the label confirmed that the 13-member boy group is busy preparing for a comeback this October. The label did not release an official date for the comeback yet.

Members of CARAT, SEVENTEEN's official fandom, have been waiting for the group's next comeback after they released their seventh mini-album Heng:garæ with the catchy title track "Left & Right" last June.

The previous hit also spawned a viral dance challenge with Kpop artists like NU'EST Ren, CLC's Elkie, Sorn and Seunghee, Yoo Jaesuk and Cho Saeho, APINK's Eunji, Kevin Woo, EXID's Hani, Im Nayoung, and even Zico joining in on the fun.

While gearing for their October comeback, SEVENTEEN continues to receive positive feedback for their recent Japanese album 24H. Based on the latest data from Japan's Oricon chart, SEVENTEEN's second Japanese album topped the weekly albums chart for the week of September 7-13. The first week sales also surpassed 240,000 units.

This was not the first time for SEVENTEEN to top the Oricon chart. It can be recalled SVT's You Made My Dawn, An Ode, and Heng:garæ also made it to the No. 1 rank in Japan's biggest music chart. 24H features the tracks "24H", as well as the Japanese versions of "Pinwheel", "247", "Chili" and "Together."

SEVENTEEN members have also been keeping busy with individual projects while working on their upcoming group release. Joshua and DK were recently featured in the remix version of Pink Sweat$'s song "17." The two vocal line members collaborated with the American artist to add more sweetness to the original ballad version of the song. "17" was part of Pink Sweat$'s The Prelude album.

After receiving surgery for a left ankle ligament rupture last July, Seungkwan also worked on the OST of Park Bo Gum and Park So Dam's Record of Youth. The SEVENTEEN member joined EXO's Baekhyun, Chungha, MAMAMOO's Wheein, Lee Hi, Kim Jae Hwan, and J Rabbit who lent their voices to complete the compelling soundtrack of the drama.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN continued to do well in the Korean Business Research Institute's regular brand reputation rankings. For this month, SEVENTEEN landed on the third position, trailing only BTS and EXO in the top positions from August 11 to September 11. The brand reputation rankings are determined by analyzing data from media coverage, interaction, and consumer participation, and community indexes of various boy groups, reported Soompi.
