A new book claims that Prince Andrew had a steady "supply of women" from his pedophile friend, the disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. The Duke of York was, allegedly, addicted to his conquests because it allegedly made him feel adequate.

Author Ian Halperin revealed in the book, Sex, Lies and Dirty Money by the World's Powerful Elite, that Prince Andrew likes to be daring in bed with the ladies. One of his ex-lovers disclosed to the author that the Duke of York had the lifestyle of a playboy because he needed the attention he was not get getting from the Palace.

Allegedly, Prince Andrew felt that he was always just going to be second to his older brother, Prince Charles. Halperin likened this brothers' relationship to the other heir and a spare, Prince William and Harry. Royal courtiers saw Prince Charles and Prince William as the "royal material," while Prince Andrew and Prince Harry were the "bad boys" of the royal family.

Halperin does not doubt that Epstein arranged for Andrew's dalliance with the women. However, the author has not found any proof the Duke of York hooked up with Epstein's underage girls.

The royal author said that Prince Andrew's casual relationships were consensual. The dozens of women he spoke to for this book said that the Duke of York had been a perfect gentleman and they agreed to be intimate with him without any limitations.

It comes as one of Epstein's girls said in court that she had intimate relations with Prince Andrew at 17 years old. Virginia Roberts Giuffre attested that she had at least three encounters with the Duke of York, including one trip to Epstein's private island with a group of women, per a documentary.

Prince Andrew issued a denial about these accusations but the royal acknowledged in a BBC interview that his friendship with Epstein had "beneficial outcomes" for his career. Epstein apparently helped the royal tap a network with the likes of former President Bill Clinton and then-businessman Donald Trump.

However, Halperin also thinks that Prince Andrew became fearful of Epstein. The author alleged that the Duke of York begged his friend not to reveal his dirty little secrets. Epstein had such a hold on very important people that he could use the information against them. Unfortunately, one of these people was Queen Elizabeth's second son.

Sex, Lies and Dirty Money by the World's Powerful Elite will hit book shelves on Thursday, Sept. 24.
