V and Jungkook are two of the youngest members of BTS. The duo has a cute bond that ARMYs fondly call them “Taekook” (a combination of V’s real name Taehyung + Jungkook).

Old photos and videos of BTS proved how close V and Jungkook were. But, as time goes by, ARMYs have noticed that the pair has less interaction and is becoming distant. Fans didn’t take this observation too seriously, as they believe that it’s just part of growing up, and there’s nothing to worry about. Some even claimed that people are just overreacting and that Taekook is still very close like before.

In the recent episode of In The Soop, Jungkook revealed the real status of his friendship with V. The Golden Maknae shared that he and the “Sweet Night” singer were very close when they were younger, but admitted that a gap formed between them.

“He was the easiest person to talk to before. But as we started spending time on our own, there was a side of things that started to feel a bit awkward with V,” Jungkook said, adding that V used to joke around all the time, but became more reserved now. (Watch the clip here).

Instead of leaving things as they were, V and Jungkook had a heart-to-heart talk to revive their Taekook bond. They recalled that they were scolded together before, and V even said that they were “partners in crime.” Of course, the pair’s much-needed talk made ARMYs very happy and quickly trended “Taekook” on Twitter.

“Between them, everything was destroyed. They are no longer close as in the past. It is good that they understand each other. But now I am very happy because they are trying to restore the fun that they had with the brotherly relationship that was in the past,” one tweeted. “I envy the special bond they have. This scene looks like the official renewal of their friendship. Taekook is back,” another one wrote.

Meanwhile, even though Jungkook is older now, he is still BTS’s baby. The “My Time” singer also previously revealed that he struggled in his solo scenes when filming the group’s latest hit, “Dynamite.”

Jungkook openly admitted that shooting alone was a challenge for him, but filming with his members was a different story. Bangtan TV uploaded “Dynamite” MV Shooting Sketch on YouTube, and JK clearly had a lot of fun when he was with RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, and V.
