Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the Royal Family members are expected to be neutral regarding politics at all times. Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their senior royal roles, the pair had to abide by this rule as well.

But, now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer working royals, they don’t have to be politically neutral anymore. The Duchess of Sussex even vowed to be more vocal on topics and campaigns that she is passionate about.

During a television broadcast, Prince Harry told Americans to “reject hate speech, misinformation, and online negativity” as November is approaching, which is the voting month in the US. Meghan Markle also plans to use her voice to the upcoming U.S. election. She is among the 100 high-profile women who shared that they will vote this November.

President Donald Trump's former campaign manager blasted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for urging Americans to vote. Corey Lewandowski, then, shared that he hoped the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would leave the U.S. “They made Britain great again by leaving, I hope they do the same for us,” he said.

Meghan Markle previously told Marie Claire that she knows what it feels like to have a voice and to be voiceless. The Duchess of Sussex noted that she chose to be heard this time, which is why she’s urging everyone to vote.

Many have noticed that Meghan Markle had been very vocal lately with topics that she would never touch before. In July, the Duchess of Sussex delivered a speech in the Girl Up leadership conference. She took part in the gender equality initiative of the United Nations Foundation, which reportedly marked a "significant moment" for her.

Sky News' royal correspondent Rhiannon Mills noted that Meghan Markle already talked about the topics that she addressed in the prerecorded video before. However, she pointed out that the difference is that this is the first time that the Duchess of Sussex talked about this since she and Prince Harry stepped down as senior royals.

It was even claimed that Meghan Markle got her eyes on the U.S. Presidency. Royal author Lady Colin Campbell said that the Duchess of Sussex plans to move into the White House.

Meghan Markle had been delivering politicized speeches and Richard Fitzwilliams believes that there’s a deeper meaning behind it. The royal commentator is speculating that the Duchess of Sussex is "rehearsing for a far bigger stage" and become a “Democratic Party candidate” in the future.
