Supernatural series finale is going to be an emotional one. A lot of stories will be explored here and some of the loose ends from the beginning will be tied. Yet, the episode won't be dealing with broad and epic battles. Instead, it will deliver dramatic moments for most of the characters.

Supernatural series finale goes in a different direction once it arrives later this fall. Through most of the season, we've seen Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) fighting against God (Rob Benedict). However, this is something that won't be featured in the episode.

Since this is the final run, the series is finding a way to make sure people will be emotionally satisfied with the ending. The story is all about the Winchester brothers and their relationship. They take on different threats, but they need to carry the weight of the world on their shoulders, as well.

Supernatural series finale will focus more on the heart of the story rather than bringing some huge mythology-based conflict. In a recent interview with TVLine, co-showrunner Andrew Dabb has something to say about this particular subject.

Dabb said that most of the mythology was wrapped up in episode 19. Then, episode 20 is more character-based and we won't be getting more fights in here. The story focuses more on Sam, Dean, as well as the family that they've built around them.

We won't be seeing them dealing with the Case of the Week. Based on what Dabb said, viewers should be prepared for the episode since it's going to be a dramatic one. After all, the series has been running on the small screen for 15 years.

Few more episodes are needed to be aired before the Supernatural series finale arrives. The show was originally set to conclude in the spring, but the schedule wasn't followed due to the current global health crisis. The series will be returning in October with a Holiday-themed episode.

In episode 14, Sam and Dean discover a wood nymph (guest star Meagan Fey), who's living in a bunker. The entity is doing whatever she can just to protect her family. According to Dabb, the episode is a fun one as it touches some unaddressed things regarding the Men of Letters and the bunker.

The preview photos also showed what's coming to some of the characters, such as Dean wearing a purple nightgown. He and Sam head off on a hunt, as well, with their Impala. Other images showed them celebrating different occasions, from Halloween to Thanksgiving.

Supernatural series finale will be airing in November on The CW.
