Supernatural season 15 episode 14 is coming next month on The CW, with the title "Last Holiday." The series has been on a long hiatus and it will be returning with a festive episode. We're going to see Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) and Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) celebrating several occasions.
Originally, Supernatural season 15 episode 14 was set to air in the spring but the schedule wasn't followed. Filming was forced to shut down due to the current global health crisis. Now, the good news is that the Winchester brothers are returning soon for their final journey.
The episode kicks off with Dean and Sam discovering a wood nymph (guest star Meagan Fey). The entity is living in a bunker and will do whatever she can in order to protect her family. While the synopsis seems ominous, co-showrunner Andrew Dabb made it clear that the episode is a fun one.
Dabb said that Supernatural season 15 episode 14 will be really fun. It touches some heretofore unaddressed things regarding the Men of Letters, as well as the bunker. Also, some of the preview photos teased what's coming for the characters.
One of the photos showed that Dean is wearing a purple nightgown. In addition, he and Sam will be heading off on a hunt in Baby, their beloved Impala. Other photos showed that the Winchesters are celebrating the holiday with plenty of food on the table and some pumpkin carving.
Beyond this episode, we could expect more stories given that Supernatural season 15 serves as the series finale. The final episode will be emotional, but it will also honor the legacy of the characters. Some of the loose ends since the beginning might be tied, as well.
What's concerning here is that the trailer showed that a lot of lives are in jeopardy. There is a possibility that some of them may not make it out until the end. In addition to that, some key parts to the past could be explored to understand what's happening in the present and future.
The recent trailer hinted that one more flashback is coming before the series officially concludes. Through the flashback, we could learn more about Dean and Sam and the things they've been through before. It could dive deeper into some untold events, and their experiences that weren't shown yet.
