Lee Kwangsoo talked about balancing his image as an actor and entertainer in a recent interview for Esquire Korea.

Lee Kwangsoo, who will be featured in the cover of the magazine's upcoming issue, said that it is hard to define himself as just an actor or just a cast member of Running Man, reported Soompi.

Throughout the years, Kwangsoo became a household name because of his regular appearance on the variety show. He admitted that the show had its ups and downs in the ten years since it started airing, but he said he was grateful because he gained a lot of recognition from the audience who were fans of Running Man.

While filming Running Man, Kwangsoo kept a steady stream of projects for both films and dramas. During the recent Baeksang Art Awards, he received the honor of Best Supporting Actor for his role in Inseperable Bros. where he played the role of a disabled person.

In his speech, the audience noted that he refrained from calling himself an actor. Instead, he simply promised fans that he will strive to be someone who gives them healthy laughter and makes them feel moved.

He acknowledged that he refrained from labelling himself as an actor because he did not want to create an impression that he wants to be seen as merely an actor or an entertainer. He said that at the end of the day, he just does his best at whatever project he has before him.

He said that he always works hard, whether it is on Running Man or filming a drama. Kwangsoo added that in all his years of working, he has never had a day where he felt that he did not put his all into his roles.
