Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are two of the most popular and well-loved celebrities in Hollywood. So, when the pair dated and got married two decades ago, their romance consistently made it to the headlines.

Up until now, numerous people remain clueless about the primary reason behind their split in 2015. Last year, one publication reported that the pair were set to reveal their story in a movie.

According to Star, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were considering taking part in a movie based on their “love story and split.” However, the insider claimed that the actress was worried that the film could “open up old wounds,” and she wasn’t “ready for that.” The source alleged that Brad was “cajoling” his ex-wife because he believed that it would be “cathartic for both of them."

The tipster added that when Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston still jointly owned the production company, Plan B Entertainment, they may have already been at work on several movie ideas. After their divorce, the 56-year-old actor and film producer took over as the owner of the company.

Star, then, suggested that there were “new scripts” and “pitches” coming in at the time and that Jennifer Anniston was helping Brad Pitt “go through them and figure out what they both can work on."

But, Gossip Cop slammed the report and stated that there is no truth to the claims. The site pointed out that given the popularity of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, this alleged movie about their lives would have been covered by every news outlet in America.

Gossip Cop shared avid followers of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were sent into a frenzy when they learned that the ex-couple joined the table reading for Fast Times at Ridgemont High. However, the publication stated nothing was said about the supposed movie project.

The site noted that this is not the first time Star reported a phony tale about Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Last year, the magazine alleged that the couple took a trip to Mexico to revive their romance. Gossip Cop spoke to the couple’s representatives who dismissed the story.

Earlier this year, Star also claimed that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are adopting a baby together. And just like their previous reports, Gossip Cop also proved this to be false.
