It has been a while since GOT7 released any new music and there is little doubt that the delay already has their fans worried. After all, Ahgase has been missing JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom for several months now.
But, is it possible that a comeback is happening soon? Mark Tuan has just teased on the possibility by revealing the "comeback date" to a fan.
Back in April 2020, GOT7 released their 11th mini-album Dye and promoted the lead single "Not By The Moon". The album was a huge success, debuting at Number 4 in the Billboard World Albums Chart and selling over 450,000 copies. However, fans noted that the promotion period for the comeback was relatively short and were hoping it meant that the idol group is preparing for a full album release.
Unfortunately, the wait for another comeback has already lasted several months. This led to Ahgases calling on JYP Entertainment to start promoting the GOT7 members for solo efforts. On the other hand, some believed that JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom are already hard at work on their next album.
So, when exactly can fans expect the next GOT7 comeback? Ahgases took the chance to ask Mark when the idol decided to do a Q&A on his official Twitter account. Not surprisingly, Mark Tuan gave an actual "comeback date" when a fan reached out to him.
Mark announced that he will be interacting with fans on his official Twitter account through the hashtag #chatwithmark. Ahgases immediately flooded the hashtag with hopeful questions and one fan wrote, "come on mark. Don't be shy. Tell us when is the comeback." Amazingly, the GOT7 member responded, "September 37th!!"
That's not exactly a real date but it still had fans laughing at Mark's sense of humor. The GOT7 member also had Ahgases tearing up in laughter over hilarious answers to the questions they have sent him. Needless to say, it was a much-needed interaction for fans who have missed Mark and the rest of the idol group.
For now, Ahgases can rest assured that GOT7 is in fact working on their comeback, as confirmed by Yugyeom in a previous VLive broadcast. According to Kim Yugyeom, he and his fellow idols are already preparing for their next album although he is not allowed to drop any spoilers. Additionally, the comeback date has not yet been announced so stay tuned for more updates on this story.
