Jungkook is one of the most popular idols, not only in BTS but in the whole K-pop community. The “My Time” singer had also been snatching locals with his good looks and talent. That said, the Golden Maknae quickly trended on social media after sporting a man bun in the group’s recent performance.

On Oct. 1, BTS performed “Black Swan” on the Jimmy Fallon Show, and JK instantly took the top spot on the worldwide trends on Twitter. While Jungkook trending on social media is nothing new to ARMYs, this particular day is different.

You see, BTS’s “Black Swan” performance landed on the same day as the NBA finals. However, JK’s man bun was too powerful that he beats the keywords “Lakers” and “NBA finals” in the number one spot on Twitter’s worldwide trends.

“Jungkook is trending worldwide #1 even during NBA finals night. The power he holds,” one tweeted. “Jungkook is trending in 89 different countries and regions after #BTSonFallon_D3  stage,” another one shared.

Jungkook is the youngest member of BTS, but his recent appearance is reminding ARMYs that he is no longer their baby bunny. The “Euphoria” singer had been wearing more mature clothing and style. His legendary man bun also sealed the deal.

“Honestly, some have said it before, but I’m really noticing a change in Jungkook. It’s like he is finally doing what he wants, with full confidence and just being himself. And I’m absolutely here for it,” one wrote.

While Jungkook’s personality remains cute and adorable, the BTS singer has grown taller and bigger. In fact, he’s one of the heaviest boys in the group.

One of the biggest physical changes that Jungkook did was getting tattoos. While ARMYs have seen Jungkook’s hand ink several times, the 23-year-old singer, songwriter, and record producer have been wearing sweaters, jackets, coats, and long sleeves that covered up his whole arm.

Big Hit staff, most of the time, covered Jungkook’s tattoos because they are not openly accepted in South Korea. While tattoos are not illegal in the country, they are quite controversial. With JK being a member of the biggest boy band on the planet right now, his clean image is very important because any minor mistake or controversy will affect the group.

But, after learning the authenticity of Jungkook’s tattoos, international ARMYs have been urging the BTS star to show them. The group has been reminding their fans to love themselves for years and many believe that the golden maknae should practice what they preach — and he’s slowly doing just that.
