BTS is the biggest boy group on the planet right now. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have reached the superstardom status and broke a lot of records throughout their career.
Unfortunately, extreme popularity comes with a price. Even though BTS has earned a lot of fans all around the globe, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook also have critics. While the boys openly accept those constructive criticisms, some people attack them for the lowest reasons, such as their looks.
Recently, Yoo Jimin, who is a popular trainee of SM Entertainment, is under fire for allegedly insulting BTS, EXO, and NCT. In a screenshot with a friend, Yoo Jimin shared that she was feeling so stressed out at the time. She said that NCT, a boy group formed by her agency, was going to reveal two new members and added that they were not even handsome.
Yoo Jimin admitted she felt sad that she was not given the opportunity to debut yet. She said that she should have auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment and not SM. The trainee, then, told her friend to delete the message after reading it.
Yoo Jimin’s insult didn’t end there. She attacked her own agency and said that this is the end of SM Entertainment. The trainee, who is believed to be a likely member of the label's upcoming girl group, said that EXO is not as popular as before anymore, pointing out that NCT would not save the company as they are not doing well. She reiterated that she was worried and would have gone to Big Hit Entertainment or YG Entertainment instead.
Despite her wanting to join Big Hit Entertainment, Yoo Jimin attacked the biggest artists of the label. She said that she didn’t like BTS before because they are “ugly.” Her friend then chimed in: "That's right. We used to say that BTS were ugly, especially Jimin and RM. It was so funny back then."
BTS and the new NCT members are not the only ones Yoo Jimin finds ugly. She also allegedly called EXO’s Kai ugly after working with him in a commercial, which is still unreleased.
As expected, K-pop fans are outraged after learning about Yoo Jimin’s alleged screenshots. However, her supporters pointed out that this is out of character for her. They claimed that the messages are fake because Yoo Jimin had always been a kind person.
