Floyd Mayweather Jr. will go down as one of the greatest boxers ever to take the ring but the Flamboyant One feels he is being undercut. The debate rages on who had the most stellar ring career to be adjudged the greatest of all time. In Mayweather’s book that right belongs to him.

Speaking at the Club Shay Shay podcast, the 43-year-old retired boxer was at it again. But this time, he went into detail and pointed out how Muhammad Ali had his share of losses while also questioning how many world champions Rocky Marciano defeated.

"Out of all these guys in the history of boxing, I have accomplished more than every fighter in the history of boxing. How many world champions have Rocky Marciano beat? So we already know, I beat more champions that’s going in the hall of fame," Mayweather said.

Throughout his career, Mayweather has been criticized for how he picks his opponents and the manner of fighting in the ring. Some see him looking to avoid engaging opponents in a slugfest, something perhaps that only select boxers will understand.

For Mayweather, that is tactic. But when boxing is mentioned, most expect a fierce exchange of blows. The American has had multiple opponents where he proved he would rather stick and move and settle for points once the final bell rings. Manny Pacquiao is one of them, a fighter known to brawl if needed.

Mayweather is 50-0, the last win coming at the expense of former UFC champion Conor McGregor. In the eyes of some, that may not count considering it was a cross-fight that most felt was simply done out of entertainment. Mayweather won over McGregor although most gave the mixed martial artist low chances of winning over Money if it was a clean boxing match.

But now it appears Mayweather has been miffed with the rise of a fighter from Asia. WBC strawweight champion Wanheng Menayothin of Thailand is now at 54-0 and will be going for win no. 55 soon.

As far as Mayweather is concerned, it is all a joke. Like what he did with Marciano, he pointed out how the Thai beat only one world champion.

"I said, ‘Y’all telling me about this fighter that fought one world champion?’ He’s 54-0 and only beat one world champion? This is who y’all are trying to call TBE? Okay, y’all are some comedians," Mayweather said.

For now, Mayweather is officially retired. Some feel he will return to the ring but only if big money is involved. So far, nothing official has been pitched to convince Mayweather to fight again.
