ATEEZ led the ranking of 4th generation idols in terms of Hanteo album sales.

According to a report by All Kpop, records ATEEZ's recent album ZERO: Fever Part 1 sold 365,496 units, followed by Stray Kids with 266,140 for their IN album.

BTS' junior group TXT sold 235,081 units of their The Dream Chapter: Eternity while Stray Kids once again took the fourth spot for their Go album with 222,995 albums sold.

The fifth to tenth places were occupied by The Boyz (Chase), TREASURE (The First Step: Chapter One), TREASURE (The First Step: Chapter Two), ATEEZ (Treasure EP: Action to Answer), AB6IX (Vivid), and CRAVITY (Season 2, Hideout: TNDWSI).

Netizens were initially very surprised to see ATEEZ beat out Stray Kids and TXT because the two groups enjoyed more popularity in South Korea. However, international fans welcomed the good news for ATEEZ and said that their music deserved to be appreciated by the world. Some said that ATEEZ performances and music were high quality and this helped them develop a global following.

It can be recalled that last month, ATEEZ achieved their first platinum certification from Korea's Gaon Chart for their mini-album Zero: Fever Part 1.

Based on the new certification system implemented by the Korea Music Content Industry Association, albums reach platinum status when they achieve sales of 250,000. Songs that reach 100 million streams or 2.5 million downloads are also granted platinum certification.

Zero: Fever Part 1 is ATEEZ's first album to go platinum on the prestigious music chart.

Last month, the recently released Twitter at Home survey found that ATEEZ was also one of the most tweeted music acts in the US during the quarantine.

The group was one of the three KPop acts to make it to the Top 10 list that included Big Hit's BTS and SM Entertainment's NCT.

ATEEZ ranked in eighth place of the magic circle, joining international stars Kanye West, Beyonce, Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, Bad Bunny, Cardi B. And Harry Styles, Variety reported.

ATEEZ's journey to the top comes at an opportune time since they are celebrating their second debut anniversary with a special online concert.

The online concert will be entitled ATEEZ 2nd Anniversary Concert: Port of Call. It will be held on October 24 and can be enjoyed by fans worldwide.

The concert will be live-streamed at 3 pm KST. Tickets can be purchased through YES24, My Music Taste, and SKIYAKI, Soompi reported.
