Donald Trump pitched an idea for his release at Walter Reed Medical Center. He made several calls during his three-day admission to propose his shocking idea, according to Business Insider.

Sources close to the matter told The New York Times that the U.S. President wanted to appear "physically weak" before his observers. He, also, envisioned himself ripping his button-down shirt to reveal a tee with a Superman logo print upon leaving the hospital.

The American leader contracted the virus earlier this month. He and Melania Trump announced that they tested positive for COVID-19 on October 2.

They immediately began observing their quarantine following the announcement. While the First Lady stayed inside the executive residence of the White House, her husband was "transported" to the hospital nearby, where he received medications.

Amid his recovery, reports said that "contradicting narratives" about his health condition has continued to emerge. Although Donald Trump and his doctors have since claimed that he did not experience severe symptoms, there were unnamed advisors and associates, who alleged that he had trouble breathing.

The timeline of the U.S. President's infection has, also, remained confusing. The same publication noted that his physician, Dr. Sean Conley, has since "dodged" many important questions about Trump's COVID-19 diagnosis. He, however, released an official memo on Saturday night, stating that Donald Trump is no longer at risk of transmitting the virus.

While this is good news for the camp, especially for the U.S. President, the public is seemingly still waiting for answers regarding his infection. CNN reported, later on, that the doctor, as well as Trump himself, never disclosed when he last tested negative for the virus. Hence, it remains unclear when he, truly, contracted coronavirus.

Despite the continued confusion, Trump held his first public gathering inside the White House since his diagnosis. On Saturday afternoon, he met with hundreds of supporters at the South Lawn, where he gave a "divisive speech."

Reports said that the crown did not thoroughly follow the CDC's social distancing guidelines. Some of the participants, however, wore face coverings during the event.

During the 18-minute appearance, Donald Trump revealed his plans for the coming week. He will resume his tours across the country and hold rallies, particularly in Florida, Iowa, and Pennsylvania.

Aside from his plans, he, also, touched on his COVID-19 diagnosis. He continued to refer to it as the "China Virus," and assured the public that vaccines are coming "very soon."
