It's no secret that MONSTA X will be returning with a new album titled Fatal Love in early November and the idol group will once again be adopting a sexy concept. Not surprisingly, the idols have shown off their sensual charms in the MV teaser for the lead single "Love Killa" but with an interesting twist. Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. all portray deadly leading men from thrilling movies in the brief teaser.

MONSTA X had previously thrilled fans by dropping the concept photos for the album Fatal Love. According to the comeback scheduler, the first concept photos for the highly anticipated album would start being revealed on Thursday, October 23 until Tuesday, October 27. It was also announced that the MV teaser for "Love Killa" would be unleashed on Thursday, October 29.

Needless to say, the sexy and mysterious concept photos had Monbebes expecting certain concepts in the "Love Killa" MV. Some believed that the music video will have a vampire concept while others thought it would be similar to Fifty Shades of Grey. Since then, there have been suggestions that MONSTA X will play "sexy killers" from dark movies instead.

Not surprisingly, the MV teaser for "Love Killa" did not disappoint. The video opens with I.M. walking towards a car as a man gets into the vehicle. "Got room for one more," Im Changkyun declares as he takes the driver's seat. There is then a brief look at Shownu in a black suit.

In another scene, Hyungwon is shown watching what appears to be a cage match while a suited-up Joohoney sits in the back of a school bus. There is also a glimpse at Minhyuk in a suit but wearing a clear raincoat in a plastic-covered apartment. One of the more interesting shots is a white-clad Kihyun sitting in a cage with his wrists in handcuffs.

So who are the characters that MONSTA X are playing in the "Love Killa" MV teaser? Monbebes' speculations include I.M. as Ryan Gosling's nameless driver in Drive, Hyungwon as Brad Pitt's Tyler Durden in Fight Club, and Joohoney as the late Heath Ledger's Joker in The Dark Knight. In addition to that, fans believe that Minhyuk is playing Christian Bale's Patrick Bateman in American Psycho while Kihyun is a version of Anthony Hopkins' Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs.

The identity of Shownu's character has been debated on social media, with some believing that he is Keanu Reeves' John Wick or Taron Egerton's Eggsy in Kingsman. Hopefully, the truth will be revealed once MONSTA X releases the official MV for "Love Killa" on November 2.
