Despite its ban in India, "PUBG Mobile" continues to be among the top favorite mobile games in the world. The team behind the successful battle royale game is not yet done releasing content for this month. A new mode is returning in "PUBG Mobile" aside from Halloween-themed new skins, a new event, and more.
The latest set of information about the October update of "PUBG Mobile" came from TapTap, a Chinese mobile game sharing community that recommends high-quality mobile games. According to the post, the popular Infection Mode is returning on October 23 for "PUBG Mobile" Korean players.
It is not clear if the Infection mode is exclusive for "PUBG Mobile" Korea only. For the uninitiated, this particular mode was first introduced in the game through update 0.14.0 released in August 2019. Infection mode is an asymmetric player versus player match where gamers are randomly divided into Zombies and Defenders.
Zombies are given special abilities like using melee attacks on human players and cooldown counters. Defenders are regular human players who can use weapons to eliminate Zombies. The 'undead' could be revived after being defeated but Defenders turn into Zombies when they are killed by the undead.
If all Defenders become infected, Zombies win, but even if only one defender services, the Defender wins. The post also mentioned that "PUBG Mobile" players will also enjoy candlelights, witch hats, Jack O'Lantern, zombie's wolf masks, and more. A new training ground would also be available starting October 23. According to the post.

This alleged training ground would reportedly feature spooky and dark Halloween theme. Aside from those, "PUBG Mobile" players in the U.S. are currently enjoying the Moonlight Mansion event. This special event offers players a chance to obtain temporary and permanent rewards. It is a time-limited event that runs from October 9 until October 22.
"PUBG Mobile" players are required to complete a set of missions to get rewards. These freebies include a permanent Denver Lover outfit set, Character shards, Scar-L weapon, and more. To access the Moonlight Mansion event, players need to launch the game and visit the event page.
Tap the Moonlight Mansion event page and tap on the list button to view daily missions. "PUBG Mobile" players can exchange 20 tokens with Gargoyle to receive random rewards. Other outfits available in "PUBG Mobile" include The Enchanter outfit, Fairy and Enchantress sets, and The Jade and Silk & Gold and Silk outfits.
