Season 15 already kicked off a few days ago in "PUBG Mobile," but fans have a lot more to look forward to in the hit battle royale title with devs promising fierce firepower through the arrival of Payload 2.0.

"PUBG Mobile" is getting Payload 2.0 soon, as confirmed by its official Twitter account. The Payload mode was first introduced in the game in October 2019 but was pulled down in the early part of 2020. While the devs have not yet revealed the said mode's launch date, rumors have it that it could arrive as early as October 10.

A leaked cinematic trailer courtesy of Mr. Ghost Gaming that recently surfaced online revealed that "PUBG Mobile's" Payload 2.0 will expand the earlier concept by introducing new armed vehicles and new weapons and the ability to hunt enemies by using remote-controlled UAV. The trailer also hinted at a rocket launcher that seems like an M202 and a new radar system that could enable players to scan areas for vehicles.

With payload 2.0, "PUBG Mobile" players will enjoy upgraded vehicles mounted with weapons like flame throwers, heavy machine guns, rocket launchers, and more. The upcoming mode will probably make use of the recently rolled out Erangel 2.0 map. As per XDA Developers, the Chinese version of "PUBG Mobile," dubbed as "Game for Peace" already got the new mode in beta.

As mentioned above, Payload is founded on the classic battle royale mode with the inclusion of heavier weaponry and the ability to fly helicopters. Additionally, "PUBG Mobile" players will have the ability in this mode to revive dead teammates by picking up their ID Card and bringing it to the adjacent radio tower, just like in "Apex Legends." the upcoming mode is also anticipated to introduce unmanned aerial vehicle and a new UAV.

Through remote control, "PUBG Mobile" players could direct the aerial vehicle to fly to a specific direction and control its onboard missile launcher. A special full-body armor called Bombsuit is also anticipated to arrive along with Payload 2.0. This new suit is capable of absorbing a significant amount of damage when worn.

As for new weapons, Payload 2.0 is expected to introduce the AT4-A laser-guided missile. This weapon comes with a laser that enables players to pinpoint a specific location where they want the missile to hit. The other weapon is the fur-barreled rocket launcher called M202. It is a high-speed launcher that can fire rockets back to back.

"PUBG Mobile" players will also enjoy the new pickup with the arrival of Payload 2.0. Vehicles like Buggy, Dacia, and UAZ can be used in the water through built-in propellers and floaters. Erangel 2.0 map will reportedly feature new buildings with high loot amount with the arrival of Payload 2.0.
