Ivanka Trump recently spoke at her audience in Las Vegas. In her latest appearance in Nevada's Legends Ranch, she tackled her father's response toward the COVID-19 pandemic.

The First Daughter hit a "positive tone" as she touted Donald Trump's "leadership," according to the Daily Express. However, netizens reacted in a different way on social media upon hearing her statements.

Ivanka, who is currently serving the U.S. President as one of the Senior Advisors, told her audience that Trump quickly tackled the coronavirus while other countries were "not taking it seriously." She praised him for taking an "early" and "unprecedented" action to prevent the further spread of the deadly virus across the United States.

She said that she feels "grateful," adding that she knows how many more deaths would have happened if not for the American leader's response. She mainly referenced Donald Trump's decision to close the country from China and Europe.

The publication noted, though, that the U.S. has the highest death toll from COVID-19. The number has already reached more than 220,000 deaths based on the official data from Worldometers.

The Recount posted a clip of Ivanka Trump's speech on Tuesday morning. Several netizens begged to differ from the First Daughter's statements about Donald Trump and the pandemic.

It is a "load of crap," one netizen said, adding that she has continued to take the COVID-19 pandemic seriously since February. "I was taking it seriously," another critic argued and explained that she even made plans to pull out her kids from school in February.

Helen Kennedy, a former reporter at New York Daily News, also, replied to the post and "attacked" Trump's daughter. The response, which the Huffington Post, later on, reported, sarcastically asks Ivanka whether she has already listened to Bob Woodward's tapes.

Reports, then, recalled that the "tapes" are referencing the shocking recordings of Ivanka Trump's father earlier in February. Based on records, he admitted to Bob Woodward that he knew all about the dangers and risks of COVID-19 as early as February.

He privately said that the virus was "highly contagious" and "dangerous," according to CNN. He claimed, as well, that he was not worried about contracting the virus. Aside from his admission, he, also, told the reporter that he wanted to "play it down" because he does not want to "create a panic" before the American public.

Several other detractors continued to slam Ivanka Trump following her speech. One netizen even rhetorically asked about her ability to speak with a "straight face" despite knowing all about Donald Trump's lies.
