Fans want to see more of the mysterious detective stories in Balance Unlimited Season 2. As the previous season recently concluded and CloverWorks remains mum about a new season, will Daisuke Kambe return to the small screen?

Balance Unlimited is dubbed as one of the most entertaining anime series this season. Credits to its fascinating characters, it manages to capture everyone's interest.

It also helps to divert viewers' attention from its "light and less complex" plotlines. Its animation and gimmicks make the audience stick to watching every new episode from start to finish.

The first season dropped in April, releasing a total of 11 episodes. However, as the COVID-19 pandemic started grappling the world, it has affected its schedule.

Despite that, the show still managed to gain a huge fan base all over the world. The first season officially concluded in September.

According to Video Tape NewsBalance Unlimited Season 1 received "slightly above average reviews." Knowing the anime series just began, it is considered not bad at all.

The show may improve in Balance Unlimited Season 2, especially its storyline and plot still have much to give. The feedback will help the people behind it to make things even better.

So far, there is no news about the renewal. But, with its success, there is a strong chance a new season will definitely come.

Its producer, CloverWorks, is known for producing some of the most famous anime, like The Promised Neverland and Bunny Girl Senpai. However, it only renews a few of its shows -- not all.

The Cinemaholic reported Balance Unlimited still has to gather a more significant fan base to get a second season since CloverWorks has bigger projects coming.

Inspired by the novel The Millionaire Detective by Yasutaka Tsutsui, the book is described to be more mature and lesser fun compared to the anime series itself. It only suggests that the show is not a direct adaptation of the book at all.

It has its own original storyline, so the creator, Yasutaka Tsutsui, has the creative freedom to take Balance Unlimited Season 2 in any direction. However, there are assumptions Daisuke may never return for another season.

From a commercial standpoint, the anime series may do well in the next few years and fans may see Balance Unlimited Season 2, which may be out sometime in 2022. If not, it may only be a one-season wonder. Anyhow, fans shall only take this assumption with a grain of salt as CloverWorks has yet to officially announce anything.
