Familiar voices are coming to Bungo Stray Dogs's spinoff manga series, Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! Three former cast members are about to return and fans will surely celebrate.

Hiroyuki Kagura will return to Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! to voice the role of Kenji Miyazawa. Fans will also once again hear Yu Shimamura as Akiko Yosano and Hiroshi Kamiya as Ranpo Edogawa.

Previously, Yūto Uemura has been announced to be part of the series as Atsushi Nakajima, along with Mamoru Miyano as Osamu Dazai and Yoshimasa Hosoya as Doppo Kunikida. Sumire Morohoshi will also be there as Kyōka Izumi, Kensho Ono as Ryūnosuke Akutagawa and Kishō Taniyama as Chūya Nakahara.

Vinland Saga and Great Pretender director, Satonobu Kikuchi, will direct the spinoff manga series at BONES and Nomad, per Anime News Network. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, who is behind the beautiful stories of Hetalia The Beautiful World and Girls' Last Tour, among others, will pen its script. At the same time, Hiromi Daimi will be the character designer.

Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! will feature the characters Neko Kanai draw in deformed style. It has been serialized on the Young Ace Up website and has released a total of six tankobon volumes, Crunchyroll noted.

Kananeiko first launched the manga series in December 2015. Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa's original manga revolves around the story of a group of literary figures with supernatural powers.

In real life, Ryūnosuke Akutagawa has been known as the creator of critically claimed stories, inspiring Akira Kurosawa's Rashōmon film. In the series, he has the power to transform and move his cloak into a monster-like creature.

These writers have their own roles to play as members of the Armed Detective Agency in Bungo Stray Dogs Wan!  to solve a lot of mysteries. Of course, there will also be some antagonists.

The franchise's first television adaptation aired in 2016, while Crunchyroll streamed the show in Japan. It also has a home video release with an English dub by Funimation and Crunchyroll.

It went to have three seasons that last aired in 2019. In addition, it also had a film adaptation, titled Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple, which was dropped in March and later streamed on Crunchyroll and Funimation.

It also had a smartphone game, launched in 2017. The original video animation of its 13th compiled volume was in the same year. Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! is set to be out in January 2021 in Japan, while it remains to be seen when it will be out in other countries.
