Supernatural season 15 episode 18 is coming next month on The CW, with the title "Despair." This is a significant episode as it would build up the stories coming in the penultimate and the series finale. It revolves around Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles), and others teaming up for a specific plan.
Only a few details were known about Supernatural season 15 episode 18. But, the story will continue to follow the Winchester brothers working with Castiel (Misha Collins) and Jack (Alexander Calvert) to make sure their desperate plan would be successful.
According to the synopsis, Sam, Dean, Castiel, and Jack will fight for the good of the common goal now that their plan is in full motion. However, it seems like they may encounter some setbacks along the way and it could hinder their plan.
CarterMatt noted that the episode could leave a cliffhanger, bringing more stories to explore until the series finale. The goal here is to wrap up the God/Chuck (Rob Benedict) storyline in episode 19, leaving the episode 20 for a more personal and intimate series finale.
Two more episodes are coming before Supernatural season 15 episode 18 arrives. Episode 16 is titled "Drag Me Away (From You)," and it's going to feature the younger versions of Sam and Dean. We're going to see flashbacks during their younger years, as well as the first case they've worked on.
The episode sees the Winchesters investigating the murder of a childhood friend. The most intriguing part here is that the two believed the case was already solved a long time ago. Some of the events that happened are seemingly tied to their childhood.
Meanwhile, episode 17 is titled "Unity." We're going to see Dean hitting the road with Jack. The latter must complete the final ritual in order to defeat Chuck. Sam and Castiel, on the other hand, were left behind and look for answers to questions of their own.
It's nice to see most of the characters getting the happiness that they deserve before the show officially ends. While the story may not tie all the loose ends, it could likely bring back some familiar faces who have been part of the series for the past 15 years.
