My Hero Academia Chapter 289 will feature the intense fight between Ochako Uraraka and Himiko Toga. But, as the manga series went on a hiatus after the previous chapter's release, fans can expect a little delay.
Either Manga Plus or Viz Media have yet to acknowledge My Hero Academia Chapter 289's delay. So, fans expect it to be out in less than two weeks.
In the new chapter, Uraraka and Toga will have an intense face-off. According to Devdiscourse, the fight between the two is quite inevitable. They both have different plans and those will cause a conflict.
Toga will use her Quirk to pretend as an older woman, lure Uraraka and bring her to an abandoned house. The villain will ask the future Pro Hero to carry her sleeping husband, Takeo, and the latter will gladly obey.
However, as Toga comes back to her original form, she will attack Uraraka in My Hero Academia Chapter 289. From here, an intense battle is about to ensue.
Elsewhere, a very relaxed Dabi may try to start a fight with Endeavor or Shoto. There will also be a massive fight between the manga series' antagonists and heroes and Deku will try his best to stop this war.
In addition, after Gigantomachia and the League of Villains attacked the city in the previous chapter, All for One's faithful servants, along with other antagonists, wanted to reunite with Tomura Shigaraki. My Hero Academia Chapter 289 is also expected to address the major cliffhanger the previous chapters left hanging.
HITC added the official spoilers for the upcoming chapter may start rolling out upon the raw scans' release. So, fans have to take these assumptions with a grain of salt.
Twitter user Atsashusi recently claimed My Hero Academia Chapter 289 will experience some delay and may officially be out on Sunday, November 1. It will take a short hiatus, skipping Weekly Shonen Jump issue 47 and returning in issue 48.
If this will follow through, the new chapter will drop at midnight Japan Standard Time. It will then be followed by English translations that will be available at different times for international fans.
My Hero Academia Chapter 289 will be out at 9 a.m. Pacific Time, at 11 a.m. Central Time, at noon Eastern Time, and at 5 p.m. British Time all on November 1. Aside from Uraraka and Toga's fight, fans have to watch out for a lot of intense scenes.
