Power Book II: Ghost episode 6 is not coming anytime soon on Starz. The series is on its midseason break at the moment. But, despite the wait, the previous episode left a huge cliffhanger worth-exploring in the next chapter of the story.
One of the biggest concerns in Power Book II: Ghost episode 6 is Tariq St. Patrick's (Michael Rainey Jr.) future. At the end of episode 5, Davis MacLean (Method Man) has made a shady deal with Cooper Saxe (Shane Johnson). They decided to work together to free Tariq's mother, Tasha (Naturi Naughton).
If they're successful with their plan, Davis and Saxe could arrest and charge Tariq for the murder of his father, Ghost (Omari Hardwick). What's more concerning is that Saxe has evidence that Tariq was responsible for the murder. It gives them more information to pin the crime down on him in the future.
In Power Book II: Ghost episode 6, we'll likely see whether or not Tariq will end up in prison. He is in a difficult position right now and a lot of people are after him. These people will do whatever they can to reveal the truth behind Ghost's death.
However, Tariq needs to face the consequences of his actions. Tasha took the fall in order to protect him. This is the only punishment he's got for killing his father. When the series returns, we could expect more challenges for him. It remains to be seen whether he can clear his name or admit to the crime.
The second half could see Tariq falling apart, as well. Perhaps, he loses something with school or someone close to him suddenly dies. In addition, he could find himself in misery and chaos underneath Monet Tejada Stewart's (Mary J. Blige) empire.
Meanwhile, there is no official announcement when will the series is coming back. Only five episodes were left, so fans were shocked when Starz decided to take a break for a while. Some were worried the series has been canceled, but the good thing is that it's already renewed for season 2.
For now, fans have to wait and see when Power Book II: Ghost episode 6 is arriving. There are a lot of uncertainties at the moment, considering the current global health crisis. But, if ever, we can expect the series returning in either late 2020 or early 2021.
