Roswell, New Mexico season 3 officially kicks off filming just recently. Only a few details were known about the upcoming installment given that filming has just started. Yet, we're going to see a new character joining the rest of the cast once the series returns on The CW.
In a recent report from Deadline, it was confirmed that The Originals alum Steven Krueger will have a recurring role in the upcoming Roswell, New Mexico season 3. He will be playing the role of Heath, the ambitious colleague of Liz (Jeanine Mason) at a high tech laboratory in Los Angeles.
Liz finds Heath's casual irreverence infuriating. But then, he really cares about his work, and just like Liz, he is willing to do whatever he can in order to make the world a better place. While they don't also see eye to eye, his different approach will eventually push her to break her old patterns.
And because of him, she will discover new ways of looking at the world. Based on the character description and his tie to Liz, Heath could have a significant role in Roswell, New Mexico season 3. The series tends to deliver unexpected surprises and his arrival may have some big revelations.
Meanwhile, the upcoming installment will pick up the massive cliffhanger that happened in the season 2 finale. We're going to see a different version of Max (Nathan Dean Parsons), something that could change the course of the story moving forward.
In addition to playing the character, Parsons will be portraying Mr. Jones, Max's doppelgänger. It's interesting to see this new version of him and who he is. His arrival could prompt others to explore the truth about different planets, as well as where the aliens came from.
Roswell, New Mexico season 3 will dig more into Max's destiny. There are a lot of questions about him, especially in becoming an inherent leader. Isobel (Lily Cowles) and Michael's (Michale Vlami) future will be explored, as well. We'll witness their roles in the future of the planet and different planets too.
As for Michael and Alex's (Tyler Blackburn) relationship, the latter never had an opportunity to casually date someone. It looks like the two may encounter a rough pat moving forward, and Forrest (Christian Antidormi) plays a significant part in Alex's journey.
At the moment, the official release date of Roswell, New Mexico season 3 remains uncertain. The series has just started production this October and a lot of things are still needed to be done. If ever, fans can expect the latest installment premiering at some point in 2021 on The CW.
