Melania Trump wrote a personal blog via the White House's official website. She wrote in her piece that Stephanie Winston Wolkoff's book, Melania and Me, is a collection of "idle gossip" in an effort to "distort" her character.

The First Lady never directly named the book, as well as the author. But, the public seemingly knows all too well who and what she is talking about in her post. Following the whole debacle, a source told the Daily Mail that the U.S. President's wife "should know better" because they still have tons of "dirt" about the Trump family.

The unnamed insider added that Melania Trump's latest piece was "an attempt to save face," adding that she was "desperate" to defend herself, her image, and her Be Best initiative. The publication, later on, reported that the source is a close friend of Stephanie Winston Wolkoff.

The same source continued and even mocked the First Lady for her personal piece, noting how "hypocritical" it was for her to describe the former White House aide as "opportunist." She married Donald Trump, not because of his "tender heart" or "good looks," a statement that they used to imply who the real opportunist is.

Alongside this, Wolkoff, reportedly, knows that her "ex-friend" would never use the word "salacious" as she does not even know how to spell it. The First Lady used the word in her blog post to describe the author's claims.

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff shortly made a response, deeming the entirety of the matter as "puzzling," especially after Melania Trump said that the author "hardly knew her," according to NBC News.

She, also, explained in her official statement that the goal of releasing Melania and Me is to share her experiences within the 15 years of her friendship with the First Lady, her time inside the White House, and the alleged "betrayal" of Melania and Donald Trump. She noted that it was not all "flattering" but, it is the truth, and the American public deserves to know.

Melania Trump's piece titled, Give Focus To Our Next Generation, has since appeared to be her first attempt to acknowledge Stephanie Winston Wolkoff and Melania and Me. In it, she urged the public to place their much-needed focus toward the things that matter today.

She, also, emphasized the need to avoid getting lost in the "noise of negativity," and "encourage ambitions" of self-serving individuals. Instead, they should all remember what they are trying to accomplish for future generations.
