Good Girls season 4 is officially happening on NBC. The series will continue to see how Beth (Christina Hendricks) and Rio's (Manny Montana) relationship will further develop. Some suggest that the latter's ex-wife, Rhea (Jackie Cruz), is helping him to bring the former down.

Rhea told Beth what kind of person Rio is; he would suddenly disappear and pop back again. The biggest problem here, however, is that Beth wasn't honest when it comes to her connection with Rio. It's yet to be seen what Rhea feels about her new friend, though it seems like she empathizes with her.
But then, some fans suggest that Rio and Rhea planned this whole thing, and the latter plays a bigger part in bringing Beth down. After all, Rhea's backstory remains unclear at the moment, aside from the fact that she's the mother of Rio's child.
She could play a huge role in Good Girls season 4 once her relationship with her ex-husband is explored. While Rio could be in charge of a criminal gang, Rhea might be the one running everything. He already hinted that there may be someone above him and his ex-wife could have a hold over him.
Also, some noticed that despite what Rio did to her, Rhea is free to do whatever she wants and shows no fear towards him. Her job in the healthcare sector might just be a front, and she's actually involved in Rio's plan. Yet, others think that she's just the mother of his child and there's nothing more to that.
Meanwhile, there's a chance that Rhea takes on Beth's side in Good Girls season 4 and joins the gang as the fourth member, alongside Annie Marks (Mae Whitman) and Ruby Hill (Retta). For now, viewers have to wait and see which side the character is on.
The upcoming installment has no official release date at the moment. NBC renewed the series back in May, just three months following the third season. The news was confirmed in a video shared on the official Twitter account of the series.
The first three seasons premiered in February and concluded in March. It is expected that Good Girls season 4 is coming in 2021 and will be airing on the mentioned months. However, the schedule might be pushed back due to the current global health crisis.
