Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were actively making the rounds at virtual talks and summits in the last few weeks to discuss their advocacy on humane tech and building better online communities. Prince William was also quite visible on television and in the major newspapers as he promoted his Earthshot Prize to help tackle climate change.

Royal commentators Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito could not help but draw out some comparisons between the Duke of Cambridge versus the Sussexes, given their very public engagements. Bowie and Fiorito said that Prince William's advocacy had a clearer vision compared to Harry and Meghan's plan to "build better online communities."

The podcast hosts said that while they understood what Harry and Meghan want to achieve, they seem to lack action and sounded repetitive as they kept talking about what they strongly feel against. Bowie and Fiorito, however, still do not have any idea of the Sussex pair's plans and felt that their virtual conferences appeared canned and rehearsed.

Prince William's Earthshot Prize, on the other hand, has mapped out the next 10 years. The goal is to give out prizes to groups or individuals with brilliant ideas to save the planet. The Duke of Cambridge has set the first scrutiny of the submissions or nominations this November and has plans to award the first five best ideas by mid-2021.

William also has a tapped a panel to help carry out his Earthshot Prize initiative, which even involves naturalist Sir David Attenborough. It does look like the Duke of Cambridge is on the right track with his latest initiative than Harry and Meghan.

But following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's panel discussion with TIME Magazine, the Sussexes unveiled the website for the new foundation Archewell. The page still looks minimalist and bare since the official launch has yet to be set.

However, Archewell's landing page reflects the "building better communities" tagline that Harry and Meghan have been talking about in the last few weeks. They believe that there is a global crisis when it comes to misinformation and hate speech on the internet and they want to change how people interact online.

Before the pandemic struck, Harry and Meghan met with experts at Stanford University to brainstorm about humane tech. The results of their discussion will be revealed once Archewell gets off the ground.

Sources close to Prince Harry and Meghan said that they are taking their time with Archewell to avoid any mistakes. Prince William, on the other hand, had a headstart since he first announced his Earthshot Prize idea over a year ago.
