Meghan Markle and Prince Harry unveiled their official website for Archewell on Wednesday or roughly six months after they announced that this new foundation will replace Sussex Royal.

Archewell.com has gone live online but it is still just a taupe landing page with a short description of the foundation's name. In April, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry said that they looked to their son, Archie, for the inspiration to build their new official charity arm.

The foundation's name emphasizes on action, supply and digging deeper into the issues and problems of society.  The Duke and Duchess of Sussex want their foundation to take action and deliver "something that matters."

Visitors to the site will also be able to subscribe their emails to learn more about Archewell's projects and activities. The tab of the website describes its purpose on "building compassionate communities."

In the last few months, the Sussex pair has been tackling hate speech and misinformation on the internet in their various virtual talks and video conferences. Meghan and Harry said that they want social media and other internet sites to be more compassionate to the users.

In their most recent event with TIME Magazine, the couple said that they hope online platforms will invest in technology that will curb fake news or cyberbullying. This will be the cornerstone of their advocacies for Archewell apart from mental health, racial equality, women's issues and the environment.

Archewell was initially set to launch last in April or right after Meghan and Harry decided to step back from their royal roles. However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had to push back their plans due to the pandemic.

At that time, Meghan and Harry said that they will channel their efforts in helping communities affected by COVID-19. But, they were compelled to reveal the name of their foundation early on because the tabloid press also found out about Archewell's public registration. Hello reported that the website was up and running for a few weeks before it became live.

The new website also includes the office address in Los Angeles, which is an hour's drive from the Sussex family's mansion in Montecito. Meghan and Harry bought their home in July, which will become the place where they will set their roots. A source said that Santa Barbara is where couple plan to raise their son and continue their lives away from the royal spotlight.
