While the whole scenario happened too quickly, netizens were, also, too quick, to notice that the First Lady seemingly pulled her hand away from her husband. Before exiting the stage, she appears to have ripped her hand from holding Donald Trump.

Based on the post from The Independent, several Twitter users poked fun at Donald and Melania Trump. Many of them conceded that the First Couple "hates each other" as seen in their body language.
"Are they, truly, a husband and wife," one critic sarcastically asked. "She doesn't love him," another added.
American comedian and actor, Josh Gad, also, shared the clip on his official account. He captioned the video, stating that the public appears to be "Melania's hand," hinting that everyone wants to pull away from the U.S. President.

Several netizens agreed with the actor's sentiments. Many of them, also, shared mockeries toward the First Couple in the comment section.
As the ridicules and jokes continue to develop over what happened between Donald and Melania Trump on stage, many publications recalled that this was not the first that the First Lady did it to her husband.
