Donald Trump sat down for an interview with 60 Minutes' Lesley Stahl on Tuesday. Sources said that the solo interview lasted for about 45 minutes but, the U.S. President "abruptly" ended it, adding that the production already had "enough" material.

He, also, "bailed out" on the supposed walk and talk interview, alongside Vice President, Mike Pence, according to Deadline. Insiders stated that he did not return for the joint conversation with the host.

Following the shocking turn out of events, Trump posted a series of tweets about the show and its host. He began by sharing a video of Stahl, featuring her inside the White House maskless.

Donald Trump warned that there is "much more to come," a statement that seemingly hints at his succeeding posts. A few hours later, he posted another tweet, threatening to release the interview "prior to" its airtime on Sunday. He added that he wanted his audience to see that the interview is "fake," and noted how "biased" the interview is.

Publications, later on, revealed that the White House agreed to the published reports that they were taping the interview. As pointed out, they were doing so for "archival purposes."

The series of posts immediately sparked talks among netizens. Many of them slammed and mocked Donald Trump for his "outbursts" on social media.

"225K dead Americans," one critic said, adding that he is a "sociopath clown." Another stated that Trump is an "easily-triggered crybaby."

Several others, also, echoed the mockeries toward the U.S. President. "The interview went that badly that you feel compelled to do some damage control beforehand," a different Twitter user claimed. "Poor baby trump, one netizen shared, noting that the American leader could not "even handle the truth from a woman for 60 minutes."

Despite all the criticisms and objections from the netizens, many of Donald Trump's supporters seemingly defended him on the same thread. Many of them continued to express their support and admiration for the U.S. President.

"Trump's quick decisions and proactive policies made in January" saved two million American lives, a follower replied. "President Trump will beat them all" on November 3, another fan shared, adding that it is all "part of God's plan" in exposing and defeating "evil."

CBS' 60 Minutes on Sunday will feature all of the contenders for the President and Vice President's posts. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris already did their solo interviews with Lesley Stahl earlier this week.
