Ivanka Trump remains active on social media, especially these past few weeks. She utilizes various platforms, particularly Twitter, to reach many citizens across the country.

The First Daughter retweeted a viral video of a TikTok user earlier this month. She seemingly took it as praise for her father as she expressed her adoration for the material. However, the 26-year-old netizen, who made the video, clarified that she meant to mock the U.S. President, according to The Hill.

Julia Keith went viral after sharing her video, dancing in side-by-side videos of herself and Trump. She used a clip of the American leader, who was dancing at a campaign rally.

The TikTok dancer told BuzzFeed News that she intended to poke fun at Donald Trump's dance moves. She spoke on record that it was a joke as the U.S. President appears to dance like what most "white people" in the country does.

But, Ivanka Trump misunderstood the viral video causing Keith to become a "MAGA icon." Despite receiving tons of followers and commendations, the netizen said that she was just "making people laugh," adding that she has no "real political motives."

The original TikTok video has since received more than 476,000 likes, 53,500 shares, and 11,700 comments. Meanwhile, the First Daughter's retweet has continued to reach more than 125,000 likes, 24,400 retweets, and 6,200 responses.

Following Julia Keith's clarifications, several netizens slammed Ivanka Trump on Twitter. Many critics mocked her in the comment section of her retweeted post, telling her that the video is pure "mockery."

They are "making fun" of Donald Trump, one individual said. You know everyone is "mercilessly mocking him, right," another added.

Others, also, poked fun at how the First Daughter mistook the whole situation. "You love people making fun of your dad?" a different user sarcastically asked.

Despite all criticisms, there are still some people who shared their praise and adoration for Ivanka and her father. They even praised Trump's "dance moves," noting that they sometimes do it, too.

"Fan of President Trump's dance moves and I do them every day," a supporter said, after describing the video as "amazing." Another follower stated that it was an "awesome energy" from the U.S. President with the hashtag, "MAGA 2020."

Ivanka Trump remains silent about the matter. Conversely, Julia Keith released another set of video materials on TikTok to clarify the issue further.

The 26-year-old netizen even started to use her platform to campaign for Trump's rival. She has since released videos that encourage others to cast ballots properly, alongside useful information for the local and state races.
