Queen Elizabeth remains at the center of abdication rumors. For many years, royal experts and analysts have continued to speculate about the possibility of the British Monarch stepping down to give way to Prince Charles.

As 2020 fastly approaches its conclusion, many seemingly expect her to quit from her position, according to the Daily Express. Royal biographer Robert Jobson claimed that the Prince of Wales is now on the "verge" of taking over the British Crown.

He insisted that the head of the British Monarchy will step down in the next six months. He appears to have a positive outlook that this will happen in April.

Queen Elizabeth will turn 95 in April 2021. Her advancing age continues to convince many royal experts and commentators that it would be the right time for her to pass down the Crown to the Heir Apparent.

Amid the discussions with The Royal Beat, Robert Jobson continued that he "firmly believes" about the Queen's abdication next year. A fellow royal expert, then, echoed his statements, agreeing to the possibility of the claims.

Jack Royston argued, though, that the monarch will likely be "reluctant" over the idea. However, he insisted that this would become a "sensible" move, considering that she has already given some of her duties and responsibilities to Prince Charles.

Despite all the insistence, several other royal experts have a different view about Queen Elizabeth's reign. A separate report from the Daily Express recalled the words of a royal commentator back in July.

Richard Fitzwilliams stated that the British Monarch is unlikely to step back or down, or even officially abdicate before the end of her life. He explained that the royal still regards her uncle, King Edward VIII's abdication as a "horror."

The Queen has not, reportedly, forgotten what happened in 1936. Her uncle's shocking step-down in less than a year of his reign altered the course of her and her family's life forever. If not for it, she would not have become the Queen of the United Kingdom.

Royal Central echoed these arguments in proving that Queen Elizabeth is unlikely to step down anytime soon. Based on the report, the British Monarch would not even "enjoy" hearing the word because of the "crisis" that her uncle brought upon them.

Alongside the "horrors" that happened more than eight decades ago, the publication noted that the Queen made a vow to give her whole life to the British Monarchy. She "devoted" herself to the service since she was 21.
