Suga is currently in his mid-20s, but he had been acting like an old man for years. Despite his young age, the BTS rapper has an old soul, prompting ARMYs to call him “grandpa.”

But nothing made Suga feel more like an actual old man than reading the ARMYs comments in one of his live broadcasts. A fan shared that they will be entering middle school soon, and the BTS star started calculating the ARMY’s age.

Suga concluded that the fan was probably 14 years old and was born in either 2004 or 2005. The “Daechwita” rapper was born in 1993, so he was stunned that the ARMY was 12 years younger than him.

This realization made Suga think for awhile. He just stared at the camera for a couple of seconds and started laughing in disbelief.

As if that’s not enough reality check for Suga, another ARMY commented that they were born in 2006 — a year or two younger than the first one. The BTS star felt weak (and old) upon reading the comment and fell back in his chair.

In a very Suga manner, he started testing these young fans if they know some things that he used in his earlier years, such as a floppy disc and cassette tapes. The BTS rapper would always mention these obsolete objects when he’s feeling old about himself.

Meanwhile, it is known in the fandom that Suga is not as playful and hyper as the other members. The 27-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record rarely passes up an opportunity to be alone and sleep. He also likes to do things his way and tries to bend the rules.

But during an episode of Mnet's TMI News, Suga's former schoolteacher revealed he was the opposite as a student. The teacher said that he was a diligent student and always followed the rules and never broke a single one of them. In fact, the BTS star was a member of the student council.

Despite being nicknamed the "Grandpa" of BTS, Suga was an incredible athlete. ARMYs know that the BTS star doesn't only like basketball, but he is good at it, too. He even made the school's basketball team.

Now, Suga still likes basketball but doesn’t have the time to play the sport anymore. BTS is currently busy preparing for their upcoming album BE this month and for their promotion after its release.
