Ji Chang Wook and Kim Jiwon are all fired up for their upcoming drama City Couple's Way of Love.

According to a report by Soompi, the pair led the script reading for the short-form drama along with fellow cast members Kim Min Seok, So Ju Yeon, and Ryu Kyung Soo.

Coming from the successful run of his rom-com Backstreet Rookie, Ji Chang Wook takes on the role of Park Jae Won, an architect who falls in love with a woman he encounters one night. Unfortunately, he never meets the woman he calls the "camera thief" again after one fateful meeting.

For her part, Kim Ji Won makes her return to the small screen after the epic fantasy series Arthdal Chronicles, which she top-billed opposite Song Joong Ki last year.

In City Couple's Way of Love, she plays the role of Lee Eun Oh, an outspoken freelance marketer who keeps a secret alter ego named Yoon Sun Ah. While Lee Sun Oh lives an ordinary life, her alter ago is more of a free spirit with a lively personality. Unfortunately, Lee Eun Oh falls in love with Park Jae Won while adopting Yoon Sun Ah's identity.

 Kim Min Seok joins the cast as Choi Kyung Joon, a person who shows off a cynical personality to everybody except the woman he loves. So Jun Yeon plays his girlfriend Seo Rin Yi. The two characters will play the role of a long time couple.

The last member of the main cast is Ryu Kyung Soo. He plays the character of Kang Geon, a self-proclaimed bachelor.

City Couple's Way of Love will be helmed by It's Okay Not To Be Okay director Park Shin Woo. The script is written by I Need Romance and Romance is a Bonus Book's writer Jung Hyun Jung.

City Couple's Way of Love is described as a short-form drama that will feature multiple seasons. Each episode will have 30 minutes and will be shown on KakaoTV. The maiden season will be entitled My Lovable Camera Thief and is expected to be released before the end of the year.

In a recent interview, Ji Chang Wook expressed excitement to be able to work with director Park Shin Woo and writer Jung Hyun Jung. Apart from It's Okay Not to Be Okay, director Park also earned praise for the dramas Encounter and Jealousy Incarnate.

Kim Ji Won also said that she feels excited to be working with talented people in the production and the cast. She vowed to work hard to deliver a fun and memorable drama.
