ARMYs have been aware of Suga's shoulder injury for years. While working as a delivery man during his trainee days, the “Daechwita” rapper had an accident that damaged his shoulder.

While Suga repeatedly told fans not to worry about his condition, the BTS star took to Weverse on Nov. 6 to post a personal message for ARMYs and revealed that he had shoulder surgery. It seems like his shoulder had become a huge problem for him that he had to undergo drastic measures.

While the revelation shocked the whole fandom, Suga’s note was uplifting. The BTS star started his personal message by apologizing to those who have been worried about him after the announcement of his surgery. But then he shared that everything went well and he’s just resting and recovering.

Suga admitted that he’s still feeling pain from the surgery, but he’s relieved that he did it, and it was successful. The “Shadow” rapper explained that while doing his job as a performer, he underwent rehabilitation and got shots to avoid surgery. But things kept getting worse that he was scared of his condition.

The 27-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record producer shared that he put a lot of thoughts into his decision, and concluded that it’s the best option. He added that three out of four hospitals that he went to recommended surgery.

Suga may be dubbed as the “grandpa” of BTS, but he is a very hardworking person. While the BTS star would pick sleep than be silly with the other members any time of the day, he takes his job very seriously and would spend countless hours and sleepless nights for his passion.

That said, Suga felt bad that he had to be absent in most of BTS’s upcoming activities. The Big Hit Entertainment boy group is set for a comeback later this month, and the rapper may not be a part of the promotions, interviews, and appearances as much as he and ARMYs want.

Suga concluded his letter with another apology for his members and fans. But he showed optimism and assured everyone that it won’t take long and he’ll be back soon. He then thanked the fandom for their love and support.

ARMYs took to social media to post their well wishes for Suga. They said that the rapper had nothing to be sorry for as they understand the situation fully. All the fandom wants is for him to take his much-needed rest to recover. They promised to wait for him and to continue supporting him and BTS.
