Kim Seon Ho recently received an offer to play the lead role in a drama, even before he completed filming for Start-Up.

According to a report by All Kpop, Kim Seon Ho's character in Suzy Bae and Nam Joo Hyuk's series was so impressive that he already received an offer to play the lead role in the series Link: Eat, Love, Like Your Your Life Depends on It.

The news was confirmed by his agency Salt Entertainment. However, the company refrained from committing because Kim Seon Ho was not yet done with Start-Up. They assured that he will review the role as soon as possible.

Link is a drama that is being developed by writer Kwon Ki Young, whose roster of hits include Suspicious Partner, I Remember You (Hello Monster), All About My Romance, and Protect the Boss, Soompi reported.

Based on the description, the series will be a fantasy drama centered around the character of Eun Gye Hoon, a chef who starts a restaurant in the town where he lost his sister 20 years ago. He mysteriously experiences random emotions every day and it turns out these were emotions by a woman named Noh Da Hyun.

Kim Seon Ho was offered the lead role of Eun Gye Hoon. As of now, no news has been released on who the production is eyeing for the female lead. Link is expected to air on tVN in the first half of 2021.

It is not surprising that Kim Seon Ho received the offer so soon since his character in Start-Up is proving to be a major hit among the viewers, inspiring a strong wave of the second lead syndrome, reported PDI.

In the series, he plays the character of Han Ji Pyeong, the first love of Suzy Bae's character Dal Mi. When they were young, he exchanged letters with Dal Mi but never met her in person. Instead of using his real name, he also used the name of Nam Do San, a math genius he found in the newspaper.

When they met again as adults, Dal Mi believed that her former pen pal was Nam Do San.

Because of his amazing performance, many fans of the drama started shipping Dal Mi with Han Ji Pyeong, even though he was not intended as the male lead. His performance also sparked a wave of memes and forum posts citing all of the reasons that he was the perfect boyfriend material.
