Following its ban in India, PUBG Corporation is making several improvements on "PUBG Mobile." Krafton, the Korean gaming giant's mother company, recently announced working with Microsoft Azure. The devs also rolled out a new update that allows players to free up more spaces on their mobile devices' memory.

Premier Games Press Center revealed in a new report that Krafton Inc. is working with Microsoft to host its whole portfolio on Microsoft Azure. The Xbox version of the hit battle royale game is already running on Microsoft Azure and extends to the PC and mobile gaming platforms. Krafton hopes that its partnership with Microsoft Azure would allow better security and privacy of its products. Microsoft Azure is among the biggest platforms in the world today. It hosts lots of major games and services like Minecraft.

A new update was recently rolled out to "PUBG Mobile." While it fixed some bugs, it also introduced privacy and security measures. This includes Server Selection, which, apart from being moved to System Settings, can only be changed once in 60 days. The move makes "PUBG Mobile" players' access to any server in the world using VPN more difficult.

Additionally, the latest update solved the large game size issue of "PUBG Mobile." With the new change, players could customize installations to save a huge amount of space. This has always been a problem for some players who have low memory on their mobile devices.

"PUBG Mobile" players can now customize patch installations based on their needs. The devs now offer four categories where players could save space used in their mobile devices. Unfortunately, this feature is currently available for Android devices only.

"PUBG Mobile" players can install or download the map that they want modes and other features based on their preferences. They can now delete or edit some features that they need. "PUBG Mobile" now offers suggestions for clean up and patch downloads content that needs to be downloaded.

The lightweight feature of "PUBG Mobile" for Android users requires 610 MB, 70% less than the 2 GB original size needed in the game. Aside from saving mobile devices' space, it also allows players to play a far smoother game. Moreover, it fosters optimized download and update speed and lower download threshold.

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" launched a similar concept of uninstalling game modes that players are not actually playing. "Call of Duty: Mobile" is available on iOS and Android devices.
