"PUBG Mobile" update 1.1 rolls out on Nov. 10, but the patch is not set to bring a massive amount of new features to the game but enough interesting content to shake up the gameplay loop.
Update 1.1 Release Details
The much-awaited update in "PUBG Mobile" is anticipated to hit servers from 11 p.m. UTC onwards. PUBG earlier confirmed that the game servers wouldn't be taken down for maintenance, which means it is available as soon as the player finished updating the hit mobile battle royale title. The good news is that players who update the game between Nov. 10 and Nov. 15 could receive in-game rewards.
This includes 2888 BP, 100 AGThorn Trooper and a 3D Backpack. Before going through the new content and features, it is worth noting that players running different versions of "PUBG Mobile" would not be able to play together. The latest update contains lots of new co-op modes, which means a version mismatch would just ruin the excitement.
What's New in "PUBG Mobile" V 1.1
A new mode called Metro Royale is available in "PUBG Mobile" with the arrival of the latest update. The new mode takes place in a modified Erangel, which after the update, hosts bandit camps, monsters and NPCs. Progress made in the match could be carried over into the next to boost the player's chances of survival.
Apart from those, "PUBG Mobile" players could get a unique loadout between matches that could be stored for safekeeping. However, those brought into the match would be lost if the player dies. Bandits and monsters also drop unique rewards on death that players could exchange outside of the new mode to build custom loadout.
There are unique equipment in the new mode too. This includes thermal sights, weapon attachments for the grenade launcher, heavy armor, night-vision goggles and the Metro-series Tikhar air rifle. To increase Favorability, "PUBG Mobile" players should give NPCs gifts to earn vital supplies.
Erangel is also set to have a couple of variations until the end of 2020. One is to enjoy the Metro mode and the other is to celebrate the winter ahead. The new "PUBG Mobile" update also removes Infection and RageGear modes.
As for new features, "PUBG Mobile" Season 16 embraces the new Metro mode. Rewards are Metro-inspired, including Anna and Arytom skins and the Night terror set. The update also rolls out a new security content that includes server selection.
With this new security update, "PUBG Mobile" players won't be able to switch servers from Season 16 onwards after changing. They could change servers after 60 days.
