Samantha Markle, the older sister of Meghan Markle, has once again slammed the Duchess of Sussex for her Remembrance Day photo with Prince Harry, saying that their move was "exploitative and offensive."

The 56-year-old spoke on talkRadio with royal correspondent Dan Wootton and remarked that Meghan should, instead, apologize and make good with the veterans who are still alive. Samantha also wished that Meghan would come to a realization about the true meaning of Remembrance Day.

Meghan and Harry were not at the Cenotaph in London for the annual Remembrance Day rites with the royal family. However, the Sussex couple still wanted to honor the fallen heroes and war veterans in their own way. So, they visited the Los Angeles National Cemetery during that solemn Sunday but they arrived with a photographer in tow.

Once at the cemetery, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex laid flowers on two Commonwealth soldier gravesites. Photos of their tribute were distributed to royal journalists but they were heavily criticized for it.

Royal biographer Ingrid Seward said that that the photoshoot was a tasteless publicity stunt. Harry and Meghan wanted to appear as if they cared but their photoshoot backfired on them because the public became angry knowing they brought along a professional photographer.

Samantha continued that a decent person would have not let this happen. She believes that Harry and Meghan can "nip it in the bud" if they say sorry for their actions.

Reports also stated that Prince Harry asked Buckingham Palace to have a wreath in his name during the service in London. However, senior aides turned down his request and the Queen apparently didn't know that this transpired, according to The Times.

But, Lainey Gossip questioned why Buckingham Palace made it known to the public that Prince Harry made such a request. It seemed like a deliberate attempt to send a message that Harry is now an outcast in his own family.

Meanwhile, Samantha also revealed that her father, Thomas Markle, is still holding a faint hope that he will get to see his royal grandson, Archie Harrison, one day. The sister said that Archie has become this "phantom" because he's hardly in any photos and Harry and Meghan are protective of his privacy.

Thomas was supposed to come face-to-face with Meghan this January 2021 for the tabloid lawsuit trial, where Meghan's father is a witness for the defense. However, the Duchess of Sussex asked the court to move the trial from January to sometime in the fall and it was granted.
