One of the earliest decisions players has to make in "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" involves Gorm. Several people are curious about what they should do with Gorm in deciding on the traitor's fate. In this guide, players could learn how each Gorm decision plays out and how this decision affects the entire story.

"Assassin's Creed Valhalla" players would soon encounter Gorm, a character not easy to like. He lies to King Harald about the Raven Clan and is unwilling to meet the player in battle. More importantly, he is a traitor, ever ready to stab anyone in the back to achieve his goal.

"Assassin's Creed Valhalla" players would have a tough boss fight with Gorm's father, Kjotve. After that, players would go after Gorm, who would find a way to get away from the fight. Go to King Harald and report what happened. The king would then ask the player for his input on what should be done to Gorm.

Players have three options this either kill him, banish him, or let the king decide. Sadly, Eivor's input doe not hold a lot of weight since the outcome would be almost the same regardless of what the player chooses. If the player decides to kill Gorm, King Harald would understand the decision.

However, he would say that a quick death is too good for someone like Gorm, the traitor. He would be called a Worm, exiled, and told to leave the land by the next full moon. If Eivor chooses to banish him, King Harald would commend the choice but would say that death would be too easy of a way out for him. Again, the King's decision would be the same as in the first scenario.

The most modest decision and the honorable answer would be to leave the decision to King Harald. However, the King would come up with the same decision that he has in the two scenarios. Many players are disappointed that they could not do to Grom what they think he truly deserves.

However, it is possible that Gorm has a role to play in the "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" story later. Banishing him does not feel satisfying, but it is still a punishment. After this, Eivor would sail to England, and Gorm would be just a part of his distant memory.

"Assassin's Creed Valhalla" was released on Nov. 10 on Xbox consoles and Nov 12 on PlayStation consoles. The game is playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, Microsoft Windows.
