Meghan Markle allegedly did more than just campaign for Americans to get out and vote during the last U.S. elections. Her fans claim that she also did the voice-over of an anti-Trump ad from The Lincoln Project.

The ad, titled Girl in the Mirror, came out during the campaign trail and sought to encourage mothers to vote against Trump for the sake of their daughters. The video highlighted clips of Trump's attack against women in his speeches.

It also featured Trump calling then-senator Kamala Harris a "monster" during a debate. According to The Lincoln Project's YouTube account, Girl in the Mirror almost earned a million views upon its upload on Oct. 17.

According to The Sun, The Lincoln Project refused to name the woman who voiced the video. A spokesperson told the news outlet that the "actress in question" wants to "remain anonymous."

Representatives of the Duchess of Sussex were also asked about the ad but have yet to comment on the speculations.

Royal fans on Twitter directly posted inquiries to The Lincoln Project account and noted that they "seem to be deleting" the video from their timeline. Some expressed their disappointment because Meghan is still a "titled" member of the royal family who should not be doing a political ad about a specific candidate.

One commenter said that even if Meghan and Prince Harry are no longer official representatives of Queen Elizabeth, they still need to uphold Her Majesty's values. The Queen has succeeded in being apolitical in her long reign and the rest of the royal family have followed suit as part of a protocol.

Some fans also asked how much Meghan was paid for the political ad, while pointing out that The Lincoln Project usually names their Hollywood narrators.

Other royal fans, on the other hand, were more upset about the video because their politics do not align with Meghan, who is a known Democrat. She supported the campaign of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 elections. The Duchess of Sussex also openly expressed her admiration for Harris chiefly because the new vice president-elect is a woman of mixed race. She said she's looking forward to seeing this kind of representation in government.

The Lincoln Project, however, is a known Republican group that does not support the president. The people behind this group believe that it's better to have a "decent Democratic president" than Trump. Thus, they campaigned against the Republican chief during the last elections.
