There are many whispered talks about Apple's AirPods Studio headphones, starting with its features and expected launch date to its design. Recently, however, the Cupertino-based tech giant may have inadvertently leaked the design of the new product through an icon that came along with the company's iOS 14.3 beta update.
While many of the reports about new Apple products came to fruition, it seems that its AirPods Studio remained the only product with unfounded rumors, particularly when it comes to its design and release date. As to its possible design, many noticed the new headphone icon that came with the iOS 14.3 beta, leading some to speculate that might be the design of the AirPods Studio.

Regarding the product's release, past rumors say that the new headphones are set for launch along with the iPhone 12 launch on the company's October 13 "Hi, Speed" event, or during the November 10 "One More Thing" event alongside the Apple Silicon M1-powered Macs. The supposed unveiling of the AirPods Studio headphones did not happen in both instances. Still, rumors about its design, which many say is likely to look a lot like the new icon on Apple's iOS 14.3, and speculations on its release date, persisted.
Theories on its design reignited when Apple released the iOS 14.3 beta. Some say the company may have inadvertently leaked what rumors failed to confirm in the past. Many noticed that the update include what appeared to be an icon of the alleged design of the AirPods Studio headphones. Earlier this year, news outfit Bloomberg said that the design of the AirPods Studio headphones has a "retro look with oval-shaped ear cups that swivel and a headband connected by thin, metal arms."
Other sources also say that Apple's AirPods Studio has an ear detection feature that stops the music automatically whenever the user takes off the headphones. Observers also expect the new headphones to have sensors that can detect right and left ears which also allow the automatic routing of its audio channels. Aside from the rumors about the telltale icon that came along with the iOS 14.3 beta update, there are also talks that Apple may introduce them within the first quarter of 2021, though the company might still launch the product in December of this year. However, whether the products are set for launch, it is now clear that the AirPods Studio do exist and the Cupertino tech giant may unveil it sooner or later.
