Doraemon, Nobita, and the rest of the gang will be back on the big screen in 2021. The franchise's official YouTube channel announced the coming of a new Doraemon movie, titled Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Little Star Wars.
Aside from giving a preview of what is about to come, the clip also revealed Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Little Star Wars' official release date, key visual, and more. According to Spoiler Guy, the upcoming film is a remake of a 1985 Doraemon film with the same title.
It is the 41st movie from the Doraemon franchise and it will tell the story of the fan-favorite Japanese character's new adventure, along with his companions. Here, they are set to protect the universe from the threat of the aliens with the help of a new small friend, named Papi.
Doraemon and Nobita will have a small alien visitor, who will try to save his newfound friends from a war that is about to happen on Earth. This little creature has accidentally brought his enemies to the planet.
With a big battle coming, Papi doesn't want his human friends to get involved in. From here, a new adventure is about to begin and Doraemon, Nobita, Gian, Suneo, and Shizuka will do everything to hide and protect Papi.
Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Little Star Wars will feature the voices of Mizuta Wasabi as Doraemon, Megumi Ohara as Nobita, Yumi Kakazu as Shizuka, Subaru Kimura as Gian, and Tomoichi Seki as Suneo. Official Beard Man will handle the new film's theme song, while Fujiko F. Fujio plays as the director and Shin Yamaguchi writes the screenplay.
